GDPR Training
Including AI Use in the
Workplace
Director accountability
and staff responsibility
When?: Thursday 7th May 2026 1.00 - 5.00pm (Half-day session)
Where?: Hethel Innovation Centre Cost: £99 per person
If your staff are using AI, you are already exposed to data protection risk...
This event covers GDPR at induction level and brings it into line with how organisations now operate. It includes the use of AI in the workplace and how this sits within UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, PECR and the Data Use and Access Act 2025.
It is designed for all staff, however, directors and business owners should be clear on one thing:
Accountability sits with the organisation and its leadership. It cannot be avoided by relying on systems or third parties. If there is a failure, regulators will look at decisions, oversight and whether staff were properly trained.
The law requires organisations to ensure that staff handling personal data are appropriately trained and competent.
This session deals with the areas where organisations get caught out. Everyday handling of data, use of AI tools, sharing information, and responding to requests.
